Below are the pricing and descriptions for the various Esthetics Services offered by Melancholy Kitties. Don't forget to check out the Galleries of our Esthetics work! All face ups are done with a combination of acrylic paints and artist pastels. Surfaces are prepared with a coating of Mr. Super Clear and sealed with additional coats of Mr. Super Clear and clear acrylic gloss if desired on lips and eyelids. Basic lashes are provided or may be supplied by customer. A special face up, done in the style of a Dia de los Muertos calavera, with acrylic paints and sealed with Mr. Super Clear. While I ask for color prefernces or theme suggestions, the final design is my own. I will not repeat or copy any calavera exactly. I am no longer taking commissions for Calaveras, I have made the decision to only sell completed dolls. Please see our Updates for current information. All body blushing is done with artist pastels and sealed with Mr.Super Clear. Price includes manicure and pedicure. (Nails and toes are blushed, painted and glossed to look natural. They can be given a french manicure or painted a solid color upon request.) Seams are removed from resin bodies with a very fine grit sandpaper and then given a protective coating of Mr. Super Clear. Body is given a protective coating of Mr. Super Clear. Removal of existing paint on doll before painting. Stain removal can also be done on face or body, though price is subject to the size/type of stain (and please note that some stains may be imposssible to remove entirely). Restringing of doll to correct stringing which is too tight or loose (i.e. floppy joints or crazy legs). Elastic is included in price if replacment is neccessary. Resin is removed from between fingers (or toes) and surfaces are sanded smooth. Price is for two hands (or two feet). For one price we will assemble, sand and coat dolls which come as kits. This includes seam removal, finger/toe separation and gluing if necessary. *Please note that the box the kit is shipped in should accomodate the assembled doll. If it does not, additional return shipping charges will apply. Total package for unassembled, unpainted "kit" dolls. Price includes kit assembly, sanding, finger and toe separation, face up and body blush. Savings of $35! Total package for unsanded, unpainted dolls. Price includes sanding, finger and toe separation, face up and body blush. Savings of $10! Total package for unpainted dolls. Price includes faceup and body blush. Savings of $10! Tattooing is available. Pricing is dependant on size and complexity of the design. Sueding and wiring are also available, pricing dependant on number of joints. We have also done complete and partial repaints and customizations of Dollfie Dreams, Blythes, Pullips and other 1/6 dolls.
